I would like to know if it would be possible as it is in C++ to access with 2 different variables to the same address ?

It means the second variable is like an alias of the first one.

 Are you talking of a C++ union ? Then STRUCT_OVERLAY STRUCT OVERLAP.

I don't know exactly what you are asking for, but you have to know that you must not write an output more than once per scan.

But why do you want to do that? Can you explain us the reason to help you more accurately?

no it isn't, it is a reference to the same address from 2 variables, the declaration looks like that :

type_var Var1

type_var &Var2 = Var1

But finally after further consideration I do not think that it would solve my problem.

I have a modular program with control modules declared as array of structure type on PLC side, but the index of the control modules is not fixed it depends on the machine.
For example the Tearing Axis control module could have the index 10 for a machine and 5 for an other one.
But in the HMI TP1200 I can not use directly the variables from the array otherwise I would need to update de connection for each machine.
So the idea was to declare an additionnal variable for the HMI side with the same type and same address with the fixed name of the control module "Tearing Axis" and then both side can simply read and write.

But As I said finally it would not help in my case...

Yes I see what you mean but in that case Var2 is just a pointer to a type_var but not a variable with the type typa_var ...
So you put the adrdress of Var1 into Var2 butno more ...

And Yes i am using a SIMOTION D445-2 on my machine I just realized that I forgot to mention it.
