yes, you need a transformer to convert your voltage from 500 V maybe down to 250 V.

You can parameterize the ratio between primary and secondary voltage at the parameter AI/configuration overview/input parameters/transformer primary voltage and transformer secondary voltage.

I would use a transformer with a low power (e.g. lower than 20 VA).
