I have an issue with the buttons and switches on my TP700 Comfort.

All of the buttons and switches on the HMI switch the corresponding tags that they are assigned to but when I then go off the page and then return to it, the switches and buttons have reverted back to their original state when the page was first opened.

I have an Auto/Manual Switch, when this is switched to auto, the manual buttons will be faded and the auto buttons will be visible to press. The same will also work for the manual controls. However, when I switch it to manual, I will then go to another screen, return to the screen with the switch and it will have changed itself back to being on auto but will leave the manual buttons illuminated and the auto ones faded.

Have spent some time trying to figure this one out and I have now run out of ideas. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to create a basic program with the tags that are giving you problems.

You can also delete the IM folder:

 I'm not sure that it is the tags that are the problem because when i press the button or the switch, the tag that it is switching will stay the same state i.e. if I slide the switch to manual from auto and then go off the page and back onto it, the switch will revert back to auto, but the tag for the manual function will still be triggered in the programme. I will then have to side it back over to manual, and then back to auto for it to select the auto function in the programme.

 As I mentioned, try deleting the IM folder. This deletion sometimes fixes bugs that don't make much sense.

i have managed to sort the issue and found i didn't have a process tag set in general settings.
