Was that issue solved? I have the same message. Didn't change anything. Even staring SIMATC WinCC Explore - "Logon failure: Unknown user name or bad password" when I'm trying to create new WinCC project. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

What I discovered so far: 1. Issue definitely related somehow to WinCC Explorer. It won't let me to compile OS project anymore because compiler can't open the project. 2. Tried to open another project on the same VM - same logon error. 3. I have a local copy of the same VM created a while ago. I archived project on network VM and retrieved it on my local VM and it let me to open OS project without any issues. 4. WinCC diagnose log saying after failed to open [see attached file] AttachmentPMStart.log.txt (149 Downloads) |

Since it is sporadic issue and so many have not got into this issue you ca rise a service request from the below thread. |
