for a redundant connection to S7-400 you need to use
in WinCC the "named connection" in the Simatic S7 Protocol Suite.
For configuring a "named connection" you need Step7 / Netpro

You need to use two CP1623 in the WinCC PC and an additional

Hi,

In principle the "Software redundancy" option is not released for WinCC Professional and S7-400H combination.

However, I believe that it should be possible to "reuse" the example for "Software redundancy" from classic WinCC V7.X, which means that the changeover of the connection could also be used in WinCC Professional after some small adjustments.
