SIMOCDE PRO V Configuration

samibh Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have S7 PLC CPU 414-3PN/DP , IM 153-2(Which will support the HART) & SIMOCODE PRO V. I want to do hardware communication & testing of SIMOCODE. How to configure Simocode PRO V? What will be the Input & Output adreesses for Simocode? If I download Software/Hardware configuration in CPU, then how to test Simcode? eg. When I want to check any DI, I will force it through VAT table & corresponding LED will ON in actual Hardware and same ON condintion I can see in VAT. In such way, If I have actual Simocode PRO V device & actual Hardware panel,then what value I have to force through VAT? What signal I can see in Hardware Configuration or in VAT, so that I can conclude that Simocode Divice is ok?

mumbles Posts: 160 Rating: (16)	The Simocode PRO V has two types of Cyclic communication setups for Profibus. Refer to the manual for their configuraion but they can treated just like standard IO.

Valli Posts: 262 Rating: (45)	Hi Samibh, you need to understand that simocode pro communicates with PLC directly on profibus. Now for configuring and parameterisation you require a SIMOCODE ES Software. with S-7 400 system you have to install this simocode software as an OM.
