We are using the 6ES7132-7GD30-0AB0 digital module and connecting a 24-volt, 1.8-watt solenoid coil. However, the module's 24-volt output drops to 17 volts when connected, resulting in insufficient power to activate the solenoid coil. Normally, the digital output (DO) module generates a stable 24 volts without issue. Please guide us on why this is happening and how we can resolve it. |

It's a simple matter of electrical engineering: the output impedance of the DO channels of this board is not suitable for powering such a load, which is too high. The solution lies in asking why that specific DQ board was chosen and considering whether it might be possible to switch to another one with higher output current, possibly even relocating the SV. All considerations that only someone who understands the real issue at hand can make. |
