I have to communicate from Prometer (energy meter) with Cewemod via TCP Ethernet. What I need exactly for this type of communication. I have to read total 15 to 20 meters.

Here you can find memory requirements for MODBUS function. It seems that for one MODBUS function you need about 10 kbytes of work memory and about 11 kbytes of load memory. Load memory is not a problem. Basically speaking it is MMC card, but work memory is not expandable so be careful choosing appropriate CPU.
