Normal installation sequence of WinCC V11

Hi, The installation of WinCC V11 is relatively simple. Here there is the sequence of a normal installation (take in count that STEP 7 V11 is already installed). It could be used as compare base, if some problem occurs. Attached there is the print screens of the installation pictures 0 - Insert the DVD on the PC. If it doesn’t start automatically, click on start.exe 1 – It asks to set the installation language (not the SW language). 2 – It asks that was a previous installation (WinCC Basic that comes with STEP 7 Basic). Select Modify/Upgrade. 3 - It asks to set the SW languages (not the installation language). 4 – It asks about the additional components (normally the typical configuration – default – is enough, however you can select Simulation or Migration options). 5 - It asks to accept the changes that it will perform (for example user rights, regedit settings) 6 – It asks to confirm the installation 7 – It asks if you would like to transfer the license now (if you want, it is possible to transfer the license after the installation). 8 – It asks to restart the Windows. Hi, If you don’t have the Windows Message Queue installed in your PC before install the WinCC V11, at end of the step XXX a message will prompt to install it. The Message Queue can be installed from control panel, add/remove softwares, add/remove Windows componts.
