Hi, What you need: + any S7-200 PLC 22x + S7-200 programming software Micro/WIN V4 best is SP5 + S7-200 instruction library order nu. 6ES7 830--2BC00--0YX0 + a standard profibus cable with termination + the mm420 + the BOB for the mm420 1. install the instruction library on your PC 2. goto the S7-200 system manual and change the mm420 parameter as descriped in the S7-200 manual 3. create the user program by using the instruction for the library called USS_INIT and USS_CTRL 4. Go to <File, Library memory> and accept the displayed memory location 4. Connect the mm420 to the S7-200 and switch the PLC to RUN mode If your configuration is right and you enable the inputs you have configured for the USS_CTRL then you can control the drive (RUN, Stop, Dir, Speed). Examples: a. see screenshot of a USS program b. goto www.siemens.de/microset and have a look to the drive control examlpes c. without the library: install the second CD-ROM of Micro/WIN, start the S7-200 documentation and select S7-200 Programming Tips.
