The drive is being changed to a different model, not a differnet version, therefore this is an involved process. You do need to change the hardware configuration. You will probably also have to change the PLC software as well. See attachment for a FB I use which can communicate with MM3 or MM4 depending on selection bit. Hope this points you in the right direction when you compare it with your program. Maybe you could post the FB/FC that communicates withyour drive if you still require help. The following manuals show the differences in the PZD data: Your project uses fairly basic control for the drive so you shouldn't have too many problems. -Update the hardware to MM4 -You may need to make some changes to PLC code if you have negative setpoints, otherwise it will be OK -You may need to change drive parameters if you require a quicker update on speed feedback, it seems you only use this for display purposes so it may be OK as is. -Convert MM3 parameters to MM4 values using utility on MM4 CD or do manually if you only use a few parameters. |
