Hi, I'm having trouble simlutaneously connecting my S7 224, TD 200 and PC. I can get communication between the 224 and TD 200, and between the 224 and PC. However, I can not get comms between them all at the same time. I've made up a profibus cable according to https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll/5126815?func=ll&objId=5126815&objAction=csView&nodeid0=10805150&foldersopen0=-238-237-186-185-184-239-&lang=en&siteid=cseus&aktprim=0 I am using Step 7-Micro/WIN V3.2.4.27 with aPC/PPI cable (6ES7 901-33F00-0XA0 I think - the numbers are a bit worn) which only has dip switches for baud rate. Also, this has a serial plug on the PC end, so I am using a USB to serial adaptor. Now, when comms are fine between PC and 224, I thencheck "Multiple Master Network" and try to establish comms, but it comes back saying "Error. Port could not be opened or is being used by another application." I also have the Use FIFO Buffers checked, and the receive buffer set to the lowest setting of 1. Any ideas on how to set this up properly? Thanks, jky |
