Installation of Intel System Studio (Version 2016.0.004) shows message 'Operating system "Windows 7 Enterprise" is not supported.'.

Any idea?

It needs Windows 10.

This is not much good for the people like me which use Tia Portal which runs only with Windows 7.

Moreover you can't use a virtual machine because Intel System Studio needs Docker Toolbox which installs Oracle Virtual Box which doesn't run (obviously) into a virtual machine.

Some time ago I found a Win7 release of Intel System Studio but now seems that the link is broken.

It worked but I did search for an old release of Docker (the current is not compatible of windows 7).

Finally I set up a new PC with Windows 10 also because the Windows 10 IoT for Raspberry developing tool wants Windows 10.

Update:

I setup another machine (Win7).

- Java RE is not a problem, the deployed release works well with Win7.

- DockerToolbox : 1.12.2 is last release (available) that works with Win7.

- Intel System Studio IoT : I downloaded 2 weeks ago this file:

iss-iot-win_03-14-16.7z

No installation is needed, just unzip in c:\ (after having installed Java and Docker).

I'm not able to find again it into the whole Intel web, the IoT site is continuously modified.

Someone *expert* in legal issues could say if I can (legally) share it ?
