Good morning,

I have library with many faceplates, which used PLC user data type (DT_STATUS) as interface. When I try to modify this data type (add one more byte), the faceplate interface is not update to new version of data type. In DBs where this data type is used as well, it is updated after compile, but faceplates not. Tried to used library managment to upgrade, but got message that "the used dependencies are not instantiated".

Is it possible to update PLC data type in HMI faceplate automatically?

Yes, I have seen it. I followed the chapter 4. Created PLC data type (PLC UDT) and integrated it in faceplate. Unfortunately once I modify the data type, in faceplates it is not updated automatically.

In the project library you have the 'UDT', select it. And with right mouse click choose 'update -> Project'
