We have external cooling fans on our motor.  What should parameter P0355 be set to for external cooling fans?  We currently have is set to 1.  All other motor parameters are set correctly.  The exterior of the motor is not physically hot (less than 60 deg C) yet we keep getting the F0011 fault.

If F011 is displayed even if setting p0355 = 1(as per your observation about motor), it is something wrong with I2R calculationin VFD. If motor related parameters are correct, then have conducted motor identification? Also check motor nameplate data &  confirm motor data is correctly entered as per motor winding connection (delta or star) plus check number of start stops per hour. If number of start stop operation are more frequently, it will also lead to triger F011.

 This parameter p0355, should this read P0335?

For forced cooled motor operating from a variable speed drive, the P0335 should be set to 1.

This will remove the motor speed/time from the I2t calculation.

The motor is operating within its nameplate limits I guess?
