How to connect the computer to the T400 technology card?

ErSS Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, We have a use to Generator excitation system THYRIPOL . We must change generator under excitation limiter for reactive test completed. I found the parameters to be changed. How do I connect the computer to the T400 technology card ? How do I download the program in my computer 's T400 available ? Can you help me ? What order number of your T400? miami the T400 is sold empty or programmed: 6DD1606-0AD1 SIMADYN D TECHNOLOGY BOARD T400 6DD1842-0AA1 SIMADYN D T400 WITH AXIAL WINDER 6DD1842-0AB1 SIMADYN D T400 WITH ANGULAR SYNCHR.CONTR. 6DD1842-0AD1 SIMADYN D T400 WITH SHEET CUTTER If you have CFC-program for T400, then you can download it via RS232. If your T400 is with standard program you can download/upload parameters backup using DriveMonitor.

ErSS Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello , Order number is 6DD1606-0AD0 . I think not installed anything in . There are two simoreg. It communicates with the PLC via Profibus Can I upload the T400 program via the PLC ? i have a CFC but RS232 interface to connect to the reputation where T400. I think they use a cable system who are 3-pin Thank you for help Best Regards.

You need to have source-program on your PC to be able to download and/or make some changes. Yes, the cable used is 3-pin, as mentioned by Navnag. For connection it is used DUST1 protocol in Set PG/PC Interface (when you have D7-SYS installed).

Navnag Although Upload of T400 program i snot feasible, however if you only want to adjust a few parameters, you can "Learn" the parameters Online from the T400. This T400 has no any program with parameters and I think there is a small chance that somebody wrote a program using CFC for his T400 that contains some parameters visible with DriveMonitor. ErSS We have a use to Generator excitation system THYRIPOL . Navnag Also assuming that your T400 card has Axial Winder software installed ( Quite likely ), Why need to suggest wrong (not suitable) things?

If you have program written in CFC you can compare it with the program loaded in T400. For this connect your PC with DUST1 to the T400, open one CFC-chart and go to the menu 'CPU-Compare', you will get the popup-window with the results of comparison. Could you upload your program here?

Step vay step 1- T400 card, I connect a PC with the installed base of CFC and D7-SYS software 2- I update the program on my desktop, connecting the T400 card 3-then I'll change two parameters 4-After I download the program in T400 programs on the computer is attached I will change when you open the program parameters in section Begrenzungen Names of parameters : L131, L132, L133, L134, L135, I ask you: Can I change this way. I think the safest way to change required parameters is to change them via OP1S or via PMU. All parameters from T400 should be visible via operator panels. Regarding your way: First make a backup of all parameters (from drive and from T400). 1 - OK 2 - You should go to the CFC-menu 'CPU-Compare'. If here all will be OK, then go 'Test-Test mode'. After that there may a message that there unknown online changes. After that you can update the program on yor PC to the latest online changes. If that update will be OK, then 3 - you can go online and change required parameters 4 - this is not mandatory step. But if you want you can go offline, recompile program and download. If you don't know yet, your parameters are here in CFC: L131 - Begrenzungen.5-3_1.X L132 - Begrenzungen.5-5_1.A2 L133 - Begrenzungen.5-5_1.B2 L134 - Begrenzungen.5-5_1.A3
