i want to use one of the project in s7-400H redundant system  with WinCC Server OPC(single)and Engineering station(single) for modifying the PLC programs and Wincc.

In this concept please help me ,

1. How we can configure the system in WinCC??

2. what are the licenses are required for our requirements.

Is it mandatory to use CP for H systems, or is it just suggestion? So, it can't be done with regular (ordinary) LAN card?

For establishing "S7 fault redundant connection"  CP cards are mandatory. if you use normal lan cards i think we cant use redundancy function of PLC when Master CPU changes.

Hello vijay.k,

for a redundant connection to S7-400 you need to use
in WinCC the "named connection" in the Simatic S7 Protocol Suite.
For configuring a "named connection" you need Step7 / Netpro

You need to use two CP1623 in the WinCC PC and an additional
license for the redundant connection "HARDNET-IE S7 REDCONNECT"
