What are the differences between the 6ES7870-1AB01-0YA0 and the 6ES7870-1AB01-0YA1? Do I need additional software for this, or is only the hardware dongle required? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from hardware Dongle for CP-341.

It´s for CP341 / CP441-2. 6ES7870-1AB01-0YA1 contains also License but no Software / Documentation. Please check this manual for detailled informations: SIMATIC S7-300/S7-400 Loadable Driver for Point-to-Point CPs: MODBUS Protocol, RTU format, S7 is Slave You need FB80 - so check chapter commissioning the FB... Towome Platinum Expert Joined: 7/9/2015 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 4019 Rating: (601)	Hi, you need Dongle to plug in CP341, then use MODB_341 from instructions of TIA (Communication/Communication processor / Modbus Slave (RTU) ). Change to Device View, and use Online & Diagnostic function for CP - there you have a special function "Load special driver". So you need no other Software in TIA. Regards, Towome
