Simotion, 1)Go with the auto tune while the motor is coupled to the machine. 2)Drive the motor to the edge of the speed that it can go with the current speed parameters. 3)Trace speed and torque. Sample rate should be high so you can catch any spike on the torque. 4) If you are not hitting the torque limit but speed is not enough for you, Change the gain and keep an eye on the torque curve. 5)Eventually you will get to the speed you want but there might be quick torque spikes which drop the speed. 6)Open up the torque limit so you it can cover the torque spikes. 7)If opening up the torque limit doesn’t help, you have to open the limit for power on the drive so you can reach the desire speed. 8)Eventually you should have a smooth torque curve.
