What do I need to do in my PLC code in order to change a value on the HMI screen and have it save? I'm wanting to change the value of a parameter on the screen and then save that value so it's set as the default until it's changed on screen again. I also don't know what events to use in order to link the numpad to changing the value of what's selected and then being able to save that value or cancel the edit |

Hi, Your question is a little bit unclear. Could you clarify it?
Are you going to change the value in the PLC or you are going to change that value on the HMi? Where do you want to store it? Could you upload some screenshots of what you are doing and what you would like to achive? |

Hi kcgrade, you have to set the PLC tags "retain". Then the PLC keeps the values even when power off. Regards, Frink |

Also I could not understand you, but accually when we need any event in value changing we use Cahnge value of tag, and can assign script for your actions. you can use DO While or DO Until. hope it's clear |
