after installing update TIA v15.upt5 the Step7 Manager can not be used and this error appears 'Cannot find language resource file S7YOMLR.DLL ' .

i search for the file on other PC that is working and i ca not find it, the system finds S7YOMLRA.DLL,

S7YOMLRB.DLL, S7YOMLRC.DLL. i think depending on what language support is install on the PC.

i uninstall Step7 Manager, graph and SCL software and reinstall them, but with no success.

how can i repair the fault?

Latest versio is 5.6 SP2 Upd3

i already reinstall the software and restarted the system but with no success instantly.

after one week seems to work. i was out of office with closed PC and now works.

strange are the ways of windows+Step7

even if it works again in the meantime, the latest version is V5.6 + servicepack 2 + hotfix 5.

As i can see on the screenshot, V5.6 with servicepack 1 is installed.

Maybe this helps if the message is shown again.

I had the same problem above after upgrading my TIA portal to the latest V16 UPD# and applying several windows updates (not sure which caused the problem)

I only had Step 7 Pro 2017 SR 1 installed and was receiving the S7YOMLR errors....

But, after installing Step 7 Pro 2017 SR2 (SP2 + hotfix 5) using the links above, my errors are now all gone.

I have the same error, but I can't install version 5.6 sp2 (I have 5.6 sp1) because link is "controlled" and my registration inquiry is still being processed.

as the software is export restricted and your request still in process, only Siemens can help, so you can start an support request.

Also forum users are not allowed to provide any software.

As an alternative:
Try to start SIMATIC manager via "right click -> run as admin". Sometimes this can also help for this error message.
