Hello, I am having a hard time trying to connect to a MQTT broker using LMQTT FB from LMQTT_Client library. Since I don't have a real PLC, I am using PLCSim Advanced V3.0 upd 2 to simulate a 1511-PN CPU with firmware version V2.6. The simulation works and I was able to communicate with TIA Portal and download my program, the problem is when I try to use LMQTT FB to connect to a broker (I had to terminate connection to type on the block in order for it to be simulatable) It can't establish a TCP connection and returns error statusID 2: 8089 - The CONNECT parameter does not point to a connection description or the connection description was created manually. The LMQTT_DB is receiving all the parameters from the DB I have created successfully. I have tried 2 approaches: 1) Trying to connect to a broker hosted on my local machine (LAN network), which is the same machine I am running TIA Portal and my simulation, and; 2) Trying to connect to a remote broker enabling Qdn and supplying the broker URL. I have checked PLCSim documentation and it supports TCON_IP_V4 data type and I am not using secure communication. I have also tried different CPUs without success. I am using TIA Portal 15.1 upd5. There is more information attached, please let me know if more information is needed. I would really appreciate if someone could help me solve this issue.

works fine with PLCSIM adv V4.0 SP1 and using V3.0.4 on Lmqtt block. It is ok with TLS too. |
