RKBIS Gold Member Joined: 2/20/2014 Last visit: 10/8/2024 Posts: 396 Rating: (38)	Hi, you need to make sure that you connect an Ethernet cable from your laptop to the IOT 2020/2040 (left side port (from fornt view) & another Ethernet cable from router which has a valid/working internet connection - make sure the internet connection setting is left to DHCP & does not require a static IP) this is because the right side of the Ethernet port is by default comes with DHCP enabled. Please do also check if the same still applies by keying in "ifconfig".

Because I get the same error like you if I unplug the network cable from my S7 CPU. If I plug it in again, it works well. Best regards!

You can update it manually by running: npm update -g node-red-contrib-s7 Make sure to have an internet connection! Best regards!
