Calibration: 01 Determination time is filled in (time one belt revolution) = 8s 02 Service mode on 03 Fill in Adjustment weight1 04 Send DR3 to the scale (403) 05 Beltis empty 06Belt on 07Adjustment zero valid 08Stop the belt???? (otherwise the adjustment weight will fall off the belt...) 09Put on the adjustment weight 10Adjustmentweight1 valid 11Receive DR3 from the scale (cmd 203) 12Send DR3 to the scale (403) 13 Set service mode off Is this procedure correct? First time i did the calibration it went well, i got a good (positive)weight value during the belt working in production. After a while I saw that my totalizer was not changing anymore. Then I saw that my weight value was negative. So I performed a new calibration that went well. But now when the belt is working in production again, i get again the a negative value. Any idea what the problem may be? Can "Zeroing" (cmd21) solve this problem? Is it possible during operation? What are the conditions to use this function?

Normally it is better to switch on the belt during the calibration so that the FTC “see” also the dynamic influence of the rotating belt. Often you can hang up a calibration weight directly on the idler with the load cells, so that you can switch on the belt. 2. 12Send DR3 to the scale (403) => Step not necessary. The problem of your decreasing weight value is probably the idler with the load cells (fouling on the load cells, tensioning at the idler, …). You can try to use the zeroingcommand to solve your problem. You can execute the zeroing command during the belt is on and the belt is empty. Best regards Siwarexi

It's only a belt of 1m so I don't know if the rotating belt reallyhas a great influence? I'll see if Ican try the trick with hanging the calibration weight at the loadcells. Zeroing is only possible I think if the actual weight is also within the dynamic zero range: Weight value between: - Maximum negative weight for zeroing (standard 1% of weighing range) - Maximum positive weight for zeroing (standard 3% of weighing range) My weight value is out of this range (to great negative value)so i guess that's the reason why zeroing doesn't work...

Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 11/13/2024 Posts: 1147 Rating: (175)	Hello Maene3, Zeroing is possible if the Bit “Dynamic zero range” into the DR30 (into the Siwatool software into the third column) is TRUE. If this Bit is FALSE, you have to increase your zeroing range. Increase the following parameters: 1. DR3, index card “Calibration param. 3”, parameters “Zeroing val- (%)” and “Zeroing + (%)”. AND/OR 2. DR5, index card “Load”, parameter “Max. zeroing range load value (0.1%)”. Best regards Siwarexi

Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 11/13/2024 Posts: 1147 Rating: (175)	Hello Palestine, as already mentioned in my last email the cause why you receive the technology error message 47 is that the adjustment digits “adjustment digits for zero” and “adjustment digits 1” are too close together.You need at least a difference of 336,000 digits between “adjustment digits for zero” and “adjustment digits 1”. Into the DR3 your “adjustment digits for zero” is 1,368,588´ and into DR31 you have a current “Filtered ADC value” digit value of 1,368,011. These 1,368,011 aren’t accept from the Siwarex FTC module because the difference is less than 336,000 digits. (That means you have less digits (1,368,011) with the adjustment weight than without the adjustment weight (1,368,588) !?!) Can you put once again your adjustment weight on the scale and tell me how much digits you have at the parameter “Filtered ADC value” into the DR31? I look forward to hearing from you.
