I am using simotion  D425-2 DP/PN to create a project consist of one virtual axis and three real axes , I am tried to enable axes using _MC_Power in ST code . there is no error with real axes but with virtual axis i got the error shown in attached picture .

This is the first time i am trying to enable axes using ST code so please could any explain to me how can i solve the problem ? and is there any advise regarding enabling the axes using ST code ? .

The compiler sends you exact messages what you have done wrong.

You declared an TO axis with identifier Virtual_axis.

Then in the ST unit you declared enumeration with the same identifier. So the local identifier hides the global one.

Finally you got the error that ENUM (the local variable) can't be converted to the AXIS_REF at the MC_POWER input .axis. Which is no wonder as there's no conversion from ENUM to AXIS_REF. 

So you have two solutions:

- delete the enum;

- or if you really need it, use fully qualified AXIS_REF -> _to.Virtual_axis.

I did use fully qualified AXIS_REF -> _to.Virtual_axis and the problem is solved but kindly can you explain how can i delete the enum ? It may sound like a stupid question but  i don't have experience in ST code .
