In a project of mine I am going from combining a shell (rs232) to an rs232 - ETH (modbus) system. now my question is how do i get a communication with my LOGO8? And how do I get values that I want to convert to a weight? Do I also need to use a network input for this? I'm still a novice at programming. Since the LOGO! 8.1 can the also Modbus TCP/IP. Which LOGO! have you exactly? Please write complete order number.

AutoGen_6969355 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	from the scale (rs232) I go to a converter that converts rs232 to LAN, this converter has the possibility to switch to modbus. And from converter I go to my logo. Now my question is how do I program to get input for my modbus protocol. and how do i convert it to a value. sorry you don't understand. i have 2X logo 6ed1052-1md08-0ba1 Attachment LOGO8.png (535 Downloads)

The LOGO! can only read digital or analog inputs, read and write digital and analog outputs, and read and write input registers and holding registers. However, LOGO cannot generate any user-defined MODBUS telegrams.

AutoGen_6969355 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	ah ok, sad that this isn't going to work. on the s7 plc's you have RS232 cards on a logo unfortunately you don't have this. then I just have to go from RS232 to analog and then to my logo. LTS RS232/485 Serial-to-Analog Converter

AutoGen_6969355 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I know, a project for a self-propelled mini concrete mixer. there is a logo in it because it is compact and I only need a number of functions. 4 relays and 1 analog output for hydraulic 0-10v to be controlled. with it a logo Thanks for your help
