I would like to ask you something. Issue is data Representative in S7-1200. My question is about bits form in word. Let say for example. I have first word %IW0. In this word there are 16 bits. I have not found any table with data form in manual. So I try to think up mysefl. And this is result (below). I want you to check it or give me some advices.

bit0 = %I1.0

bit1 = %I1.1

bit2 = %I1.2

bit3 = %I1.3

bit4 = %I1.4

bit5 = %I1.5

bit6 = %I1.6

bit7 = %I1.7

bit8 = %I0.0

bit9 = %I0.1

bit10 = %I0.2

bit11 = %I0.3

bit12 = %I0.4

What about data in data block? It is same situation? For example I Have word in data block DB1

So address is: %DB1.DBW0

0.bit is %DB1.DBX1.0

7.bit is %DB1.DBX1.7

8.bit is %DB1.DBX0.0

15.bit is %DB1.DBX0.7

It is correct? So it is same bit order as in Marker M example? Thansk a lot.

P.S Can you show IEC Policy about bit order, you mentioned?

The M0.0 stay in the 8th place of MW0.
Siemens does so to be IEC conform...
