Is there any particular reason why you want to have the S7-1200 as a client? I do not understand the reason for this desired setting.

One reason is curiosity since it's avaliable I would like to know how. Another is that it makes more sense to me having the s7-1200 as client/master and my LOGOs as server/slaves.

The most important reason is that  I have a project that my customer wants me to do with 700 LOGO8 and one s7-1200 to gather the status from them all and send setpoints to the LOGOs. (Might be a s7-1500 aswell since s7-1200 might be to small) I'm not quite sure how to do it yet but I think that if I make the s7-1200 the client asking for communication I somehow can make a loop and loop through the communication to the LOGOs instead of making 700 new connections simoultanious to the LOGOs. The communication is not time critical.

Any better ideas are ofcourse appreciated

I guess you have to make the following changes compared to the Logo! communication guide

To make the s7-1200 the client you have to enable the option 'Establish active connection' (page 2).

Choose the server connection instead of the client connection on page 5.
