Good day all,

I need to accurately log and track 50+ RTD's from a cold room palette in 3 month intervals. My current idea is using an ET200SP CPU Outside, PN to distributed IO (RTD cards) to the cold room.

The problem:

-Temperature trends need to be accessible and interrogated (time frames, raw data, compared etc.) via cloud

-I do not want to use an HMI panel for this.

Is there a convenient way to send the data to a connected desktop (and to cloud) automatically in the form of:

Datalogs in .csv format, logs separated into daily batches with 1 minute intervals. Visualisation queried with start/end dates with trends?

We have done such projects earlier using adam and brainchild remote io,  modbus rtu to tcp converter and data aquisition software(daq studio).

You can use any software/ hmi can communicate with modbus protocol instead(wincc,cytect scada and labview have been tested).it supports dynamic data exchange(dde).

It can export data and alarms/events to csv files.

I recommend you to use process io modules which support modbus tcp( or profinet...) protocol and use any software/ hmi you want (with aid of opc if required).
