Hi guys,

does anyone know an easy way to swap column order in list attributes after the columns have been created?

For instance, I'd like to bring the UID column in the picture to the first position without having to rename everyone.

how did you create the Columns? 

the easiest I will suggest how I do it, is to create a Column by script, as this allows you to set the position 

where the 3 after the ATTRIBUTE NAME is the position

Set colColumns = a.XObj.TopQuery.Query.BaseQuery.Columns

Set NewColumn = colColumns.addNew("ATTRIBUTE NAME", 3)

newColumn.Description = "Test"

a.XObj.save

you can maybe also try the colColumns.copy, colColumns.delete and colColumns.add - I have not touched base with this yet, but you can copy a Column to temp collection, delete it and then add it to new position

Thank you for your answer, but my columns are actually column in an attribute of type "List", and not a query or attribute of type "Query".
