Hi everyone!

How to reset a password of the WIndows User of a Simatic Rack PC? I tried to use the reset password function using a usb but it's asking me for a Password reset disk. Where can I get a password reset disk? I actually didnt forgot the password but for some reason I dont know why its prompting that the password is incorrect. Are there any ways how can I reset the password without affecting the files?

I assume you refer to the password of the Windows user. The Rack PC does not come with any preset, it is the one that the user adjusts. Therefore, you will have to follow the options provided by Windows to restore the password: Change or reset your Windows password

The "password reset disk" is the disk you can create in Windows as a security to be able to reset the password, but if you never did this (most people don't in my experience), then you cannot reset the Windows password.

 Hi! Thanks for replying, Sadly, we don't have the reset password disk, can I ask if there is still a way to reset / unlock the PC without affecting the files?
