Hi,

Is there a way to open a specific Tab(Chaptercard) via script in COMOS?

I just tried the below script, but it doesn’t work.

No, this will not work. It is opening the tab directly from the Detail window, but it should open from the Object Properties.

COMOS saves the previously opened chapter cards in global variables, you can override this to show your chapter under attributes:

Set GLOBALS = Project.Workset.Globals

GLOBALS.DevEditLastChapterKey = "C___2" ' Chapter Card "Attributes"
GLOBALS.LastSpecChapterName = "MyChapter" ' Name of the chapter card to open
GLOBALS.Navigator.GetCurrentTree.PopupEditDialog obj ' This is the spec owner

The keys for the “main” chapter cards:

' C___1 -> General
' C___2 -> Attributes
' C___3 -> Elements
' C___4 -> Connectors
' C___7 -> Status 		
' C___ComosAssemblyActions_AssemblyActions -> Tasks
