There is not many info to be found on the Internet. But I managed to create a log file. At the moment I'm logging numbers just to see if it works. In the future I will be logging a analog signal. Everytime I create a new log file he will create a new row. How can I log multipal signals how is this done if I only have one port for logging? I would also like to write a different name every time I create a log file and withe every new row It seem that I can not create a complete new file if the first file is still there. Can I also add new collums? And give a different format? Then an other problem I have is that the time is not ok on the log file. How can I change this to the actual time of the Netherlands ? Thanks in advance Best regards, Robin Hi, the variable data of the blocks refer not just a single variable. It could be contain a struct of variables (even UDT) or array. That permits to save data on "batch" form.

That permits to save data on "batch" form. Thanks for the info but can you please explane more? I'm New in this field just worked with the Siemens LOGO before. If I understand correctly I use the same data block were I currently put my counter. Should I defi ne the tag definition to variable in order to log multiple signals? Gr robin

In the datalogopen command, you can attempt to open the expected log and look at the status : from the online help: status = 16#W#8092 \| description = Data log does not exist. If that status result appears, you can then run your FB to create the expected data log.

To log automatically, you should, after the log is alread created, give pulses to this variable.
