Hello, what do you mean with "recording"? Maybe you explain it clearer. Regards Scott |

Consider buying ibaPDA-PLC-Xplorer and start wondering how you did your job before you had this invaluable tool (in my humble and arguably biased opinion anyhow). |

Hi qwazee
Yes it can and works equally well with classic S7-PLCSIM as well as TIA Portal PLCSIM via a so called ibaPDA-S7-Xplorer proxy tool that is part of the installation (which negates the need to resort to using tools like NetToPLCSIM). Apart from troubleshooting and optimization tasks on site with real PLC's, I use it frequently for PLCSIM based software testing in the Office to verify and validate software functionality (and just in case case, it of course works with PLCSIM Advanced too). As far as support for physical PLC's is concerned, the following are covered:
For sure, there's other ways to skin this cat, but - as said - once you start using ibaPDA-S7-Xplorer you will not want to be without it anymore. P.S: You can even find it advertised by Siemens for PCS7 at https://mall.industry.siemens.com/mall/en/us/Catalog/Products/10020984# |
