BECAUSE WHAT I COULD SEE IN THE VIDEO WAS A MIGRATION FROM SP1 and SP2 WINCCFLEX THANKS IN ADVANCE Hi trinityyy - Install Portal V11. For Flex this can be STEP7 Pro, or WinCC. For STEP7 Pro, you must install the WinCCflexible migration option, which is not a default. Start Portal V11. From the main "Portal" view, select "Migrate project", *OR* from the project view, select Project->Migrate project... from the top menu. On the next screen, select your Flex .hmi file as the "Source path". You will only see an option for .hmi in the file browser if you installed the WinCCflexible migration option in STEP7. All the other fields should be filled out with defaults, including target project name and path. You may choose to edit these. Select the "Migrate" button. Success! Have a good day

king237 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello there, I am trying to migrate my WinCC Flex 2008 SP3 program to TIA V11. I have used the portal view to select the 'migrate project' option. However, i am facing problem in selecting the source file, as i am not able to view my WinCC Flex program which has the .hmi extension. TIA portal limits me to only select files with .am11 extension. Is there any solution for this issue? I am using:- - Windows XP Pro 32bit. - TIA Portal V11 SP2 Installed Update5 which was found in the following link: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&objId=58112582&objAction=csOpen&nodeid0=29157705&lang=en&siteid=cseus&aktprim=0&extranet=standard&viewreg=WW Please Advise. Hello trinityyy why do you want to migrate to TIA V11?? its a very old version in most cases nowadays you migrate to V13 Sp2 or V14 (here you can use the Migration tool for V13 Sp2 or V14) Bye Murof
