Hi. I try to install app from Siemens, that allows to check prices. Version 9.1, latest on a site.

It installs and shows "Finish" button. Then new popup window opens and there after few seconds, in third line shows info about an error during connection or smth similar. It closes almost immediately, and cancells whole installation process, deleting all Price checker files installed.

I tried to use company network and also the unprotected network, so we assume it is not the firewall thing. Do you have any idea what happens and why?

The only thing I can help you with right now is to advise you to make the installation as clean as possible. To do this, follow the steps below.

- Antivirus and firewall disabled

- Clean reboot -> How to perform a clean boot in Windows

- Unzip it in the shortest possible path within the hard drive (check that there are no invalid characters in the path)

- Run as administrator

Ok, problem solved.

Name conflict between domain user and local user on the computer and the app chose wrong one (wrong AppData folder). IT department changed the name of the local user and after another installation everything was fine.
