MRP domain error after HW compile in TIA portal

Halldor Gestsson Posts: 2 Rating: (1)	Hello Forum! I have a TIA-Portal project with 5 CPU's (315-2 PN/DP) where each CPU has several "remote" IO's (IM 151-3PN) assigned to it. Up til now these havn't been organized in any network topology and compiled without any error. Then I wanted to experiment with ring topology where each CPU has it's attached "remote IO's" in a ring topology. This compiled also without errors. When I try to go back to "topology-less" setup I get the following error descriptions after a HW configuration compilation: "A manager must be configured in an MRP domain." "Since the topology of the MRP domain "mrpdomain-1" was not correctly configured, the consistency of the MRP domain cannot be checked." I have double checked the HW configuration and all devices are defined as "Not device in the ring" under Media redundancy. I have removed all topology connections in the Topology view. I have tried to delete network and create again, but all without any luck. I can't find any setup information for the "mrpdomain-1" mentioned in the error message. Is there someone out there that can help me with this error?

Even though I did double check the HW config there was one of the "remote I/O" still defined as a client under media redundancy. The error message didn't contain any information about the location of the error and to make things more confusing, the error occurred when I was compiling the HW config for one CPU but the "remote I/O" was attached to another CPU. I hope I didn't waste your time to much.

I then simply removed the redundant CPUs' rack and replaced with a single CPU. The error won't go away, what could I do next?

How can I deactivate MRP?
