providing system alarm number would make life easier for (voluntary) supporters.

When talking about time setting and code 1314, I guess, it is about system alarm 70011. Looking to TIA help you find the following (and more):

TIA help: 70000 - Windows function alarms > 70011, causes

If the first parameter in the system event is displayed with the value 13, the second parameter indicates the byte containing the incorrect value.

Described solution: Check the time that is to be set.
