Consider using the PEEK/POKE instruction. Those are available on the S7-1500 for STL and SCL. |

If somebody interested about this: The simple answer is no. In 1500-environment TIA does not allow specifying Source/Destin. address-lengths for Static-areas in FB. Only for extern DB or for Local VAR. This even valid for DPRD_DAT / DPRW_DAT for connected devices. But the Inst.DB-areas must have equivalent sizes as the connected partner have, see picture. Otherwise error-msg triggs.
There is request for specified length of Source/Destin. or Read/Write areas even for Instance DB:s. According Support: “A 1500CPU "knows" about the connected parts configured Transmit-areas.” That's the reason. 🙂 // Stefan |
