Does the second laptop have the exact same version of the Automation License Manager (ALM)?  If not, then update ALM on the 2nd laptop to the latest available version of ALM.

I want to transfer my floating lisense from a USB stick to the c drive but when i drag and drop then I get the error message:

Error transferring license keys: 
None or not all license keys transferred. 
Communication error 

Error requesting products: 
No product data could be requested for traget system/drive 
General error. 4. (InvalidArgException)

The strange part is that I can transfer the license between the original laptop and the USB stick but I can't transfer it between the second laptop and the USB stick.

Can someone help me with this, many thanks in advance.

Your second device has Windows 11 Professional 24H2 installed. Start by downloading and installing the latest ALM. Then check if there are some ghost licenses already listed on your PC. If there is no licenses listed on the second device – try the license transfer.
