Some questions: Stepper motor - S7-1200

sainsiw Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi. After a lot of attemps i have some questions. Does the stepper motor and motor controller must be Siemens or may be another company? Is the first engine output ".1" and".0" connected to themotor controller to the inputs pulse and direction? I have a problem with the applied voltage,because output S7-1200 voltage is 24 but oninput of themotor drivermustbe 12V. I took advantage of voltage divider, and I do not know if this is the correct solution. Thanks for help again:-)

Pulse is on output 0.0, direction at 0.1 for first stepper. Second is 0.2 und 0.3. But it depends on you configuration. Voltage divider is ok. I think it is also described in CE-X7 manual. regards
