Hello colleagues, I'm Brazilian, an industrial mechanic and electronics technician and I'm trying to acquire a used FAMUP x700 CNC milling machine that has been sitting idle for some time, so I need to get it working so I can evaluate the price.

I'm going to tell you a little about the history and what's going on here. This machine was purchased already used by buyer 1 who saw the machine for sale in another city with a 4th axis accessory and when it arrived his company was without the accessory. The seller removed the 4th axle and drive shaft. After some time, having used the machine even without the 4th axis, he sold it to buyer 2.

Buyer 2 is the one who is selling me the machine. He never got to use it. When he arrived at your company there was a problem related to the CNC that I can't say and problems with parameters. So seller 2 called a CNC technician who took the 810m away for repair, which is where the more serious problems started. The technician disappeared, along with the 810 controller disappearing for over a year. Until, in search of a new command, in another company specializing in physical CNC repairs, the same 810 module was discovered that had been left for repair and the person also disappeared, you see, it was seller 2's command that was taken for further assistance by the first technician.

As I had already tried to upload the original backup of the famup x700 by seller 2 without success, a backup of a famup x1000 was obtained from a factory representative who said that the 2 machines were identical but with larger axles and both were sent to the company that I had the 810 to do the charging and got the response that the charging would be successful.

Conclusion, the machine does not perform any function, ALARM 8 appears, wrong axis/spindle assigned. The reset button does not turn off. Checks I've already done: Sinumeric source LEDs are not accessible, small LCD display on the 1st. driver deleted, some other PLC errors (I believe that active PLC errors would not crash the machine, I will post a photo of the screen).

Errors found:

PLC low fluid level alarm, but the machine does not have a level sensor

I think the problem may be in what I'm going to describe now, but I haven't found the solution. The spindle encoder cable is connected to port 3 on board 2 (if I'm not mistaken x121 connector) which should represent md4000=2200 (correct?!), however when you rotate the spindle manually you mark the position of the axis, changing the connector cable still on board 2 by x111 and 131, when rotating the spindle the value of another axis "y" and "z" changes on the screen.

In the nc parameters we have the values ​​N2000 =1100, N2001 =1200, N2002 =1300, N2003 =2100, which indicates that the axes must be read by the input board 1 (or A) on the left of the cabinet, but as I said Using the spindle encoder cable, we saw that XYZ are being read by board 2 (or B).

I can't turn the axes manually, there is no opening without disassembling the machine. So I changed all the connectors that connect the axes to board 2 which signals the change on the screen through the encoder and the spindle cable to board 1, x121, but I got no results, I don't see any spindle rotation, I turned the machine off and on again and alarm 8 continues.

I've already changed the parameters, moved the axes from card 1 to card 2 and nothing solved it, the alarm continues. I changed the NC 4000, which is a spindle attribute, and nothing resolved it. I don't know what could be wrong with the axles anymore.

These are files that should be original to the machine, I don't understand Siemens' naming logic, but from what I observed, the files do not have headers that start with "%", the file named PCL I believe is what you call PCP, I didn't identify what L888 would be or the other so-called subprogramsX

These are files that are from a machine from the same manufacturer said by the seller to be identical to the X700 only with larger axes, model x1000.

 this is the photo of the sinumeric modules, the first module on the left of the source does not have any LED on, the second module which has a small LCD display does not show anything on this one either, it seems to me that the 810M does not enable the signal to start the source due to the ALARM 8 error

What are "R" and SEA Parameters? L888 always appears called in the file called "program", would it be a routine for ATC? The tool change system of this machine uses the displacement of the Z axis above to activate mechanical cams that bring the tool closer to the spindle.
