I didn't found the answer of my question in the forum so I decided to create a new topic.

My question is : Can someone help me with GMsgFunction ?

I mean, I understand how this function works but it doesn't work in my C-Script. I don't have any errors but during the RunTime I can't get any informations in my I/O fields.

I want to collect the number of an alarm when she is coming.

I work on WinCC RT Pro V15, and here is my actual code :

Thank's a lot to answer me.

My function "FonctionC_1" is a C-Script that I created. I'm sorry but I don't know where I can find the Standarfunction "GMsgFunction", I'm a new user of WinCC. I think my mistake is that I created an own similar function and I used it. Can you tell me where I can find the Standarfunction "GMsgFunction".

I also created my alarms and put the trigger on "Rising Edge". 

About the "char aux", can you explain me a little more about SysMalloc ? I didn't catch what you have trying to explain I'm sorry.

Edit : I found that the GMsgFunction is available in the Global Script editor under "Standard functions > Alarm > GMsgFunction". But I search it and I didn't find it  . I only have "TriggerOperatorEvent".

In WinCC Prof. V15 the FunctionGMsgFunction not exist !

Insert in yourFonctionC_1 more printf(..) messages an check if the Function works

With the diagnostic tool apdiag you can check the output

Apdiag is located in the folder

C:\Program Files (x86)\Siemens\Automation\SCADA-RT_V11\WinCC\uTools

Hi,

After trying to use apdiag, I get an empty Ouput Windows (as you can see on the attached picture). I don't if I used apdiag badly or if it comes from something else.

I used apdiag when my project was running, an alarm came but nothing happened on the Output Window in apdiag.

I hope my explanations are clear, I stay for more explanations if needed.

If the output widow don’t shows any messages the function is not activated

Do can call your function on the message property – Events – Status changed ?

I call my function on Incoming, not in Status Changed because in Status Changed, the parameters of the function isn't pszMsgData, it's MSG_RTDATA_STRUCT.  

Does it change something to use MSG_RTDATA_STRUCT instead of pszMsgData in parameter ?

You can see in the attached picture how my message is configured.

On my system I can select the function Cfunktion_1 only on the Event Status changed

On the Events Incoming in cannot select the function Cfunktion_1

Change your function according the example I the hardcopy and check with printf(..) messages if it works

Hi schufri,

I wrote the same function as you, but I still have nothing in my Output Window. I think that the problem might comes from how I use apdiag. 

I open the Output Window when the alarm comes. Is that the right use or do I do something wrong ?
