I have an existing plant, and I needed the trial licenses to view the offline project, but now that I have the two trial licenses (STEP 7 and S7-SCL); I am worried that there will be some error message when I go to site and need to actually download the small change to the system.. I have received some other full licenses that may remove the need for trial licenses, but since I can't delete an active trial license, I can't test to see if these other full licenses I received (such as STEP-7 BASIS V5.6 or Step 7 Professional V18) will fulfill the same function as those trial licenses that I initially downloaded. They have been activated because you have used functionality that requires this software. STEP 7 Professional includes STEP 7, S7-SCL, S7-GRAPH and PLCSIM. So this license covers 4 products, but the trial license is always activated for a single product. According to your screenshot, you will not be able to use S7-SCL 5.6 after the trial license expires. This is because the STEP 7 Professional 2010 license only covers the included software up to V5.5 and the STEP 7 Professional V18 license only covers the software within the TIA Portal. To test what works without the trial licenses, you can delete them, but you will not be able to reactivate them. Kind regards Stefan
