Connection problem

CKS Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi. Im having some problems connecting to my logo. It have worked before, but suddenly mycomputers cant connect. I am having the same problem on 2 computer, and i have tried it on several logo's It is connected through a USB-to-Serial converter, which have the following com portsettings: 9600, 8, E, 1. N What can i have done wrong? Any help is appreciated....

I had troubles using the device to connect with MPI-Serial to S7 series [USB-COM + Com-MPI -> S7]; USB-COM + COM-MPI -> OPs; USB-COM -> S5. I strongly suggest to use genuine COM port. Probably there's some hardware/software incompatibility on those devices, but I have no reference on that matter either. Cheers, Bang_Kee

jacekpro Posts: 33 Rating: (4)	I have one question. Have you installed lately different application, that uses usb port as com port? I know that some producers (i.e. Moeller) relases drivers for their usb cables, that locks usb port for only this cable. Please also make sure that you use right COM port. Check in SoftComfort and in Device Manager that that is the same port. Regards Jacekpro

Well I cannot be sure that is your problem.But If this problem began since you have installed this GPS devie I would tell that's the reason. Maybe try to uninstall this GPS receiver and check your LOGO! connection again. Nothing else comes to my mind at the moment. Regards Jacekpro
