RichardSapp Posts: 24 Rating: (1)	Hello, Could someone advice me please how to show the elapsed time of a process in the HMI? I need to show in the HMI how long its been since a specific process has started. Im currently working with TIA 10.5 , CPU 1214C and the HMI is a KTP600 Thanks in advance!!

In PLC, you can perform complex things, like read the system clock and sub dates, (like suggest in some FAQ), however for times up to ~20 days, I suggest to use a TON (or a TONR) and evaluate the elapsed time of it.

RichardSapp Posts: 24 Rating: (1)	Hello and thanks again for your help. I already managed to get the time difference using the T_DIFF block. As result I have the elapsed time. Now that I solved how to get the time elapsed, I need to show it in the HMI with the HH:MM:SS format. Any sugestion? I´ve been trying to show it in the HMI but I havent succeed. Regards

Then, I constantly read the time and substracte it to the first time sample. I used T_DIFF and T_SUB so at the end I can get the DTL format that will allow me to show time in the HMI in HH:MM:SS.. I would appreciate any comment about this since Im not sure that Im doing this correctly.

My suggestion is to use it, and converting it in the separate places (hh, mm, ss) with the use of DIV and MOD instructions Hours = Time / 3.600.000 Minutes = (Time MOD 3.600.000)/60.000 Seconds = (Time MOD 60.000)/ 1.000
