Hello, what you really need is: Connecting cable from CP 340 or CP 441 (20 mA TTY interface) to CP 544, CP 524, CPU 928 B, CPU 945 or CPU 948 Everything esle is Baudrate and Flowconrol settings... nothing really heavy. Have you used the COM 524 and the config pack for the CP 441-2 yet? Best regards J_Bell |

Dear kovolkan, if you have an up to date Version of STEP 7 you are right, you do not need the CP 441 package anymore. On S7 side you need, besides the Netpro configuration, the S7 Communication blocks BSEND and BRECEIVE, as you see in the manual. J_Bell |

Dear J_Bell Thank you for your help. When we write you fist there is Fault 1 Led On. Now it is off.it means that we have just program the CP441-2 . But now there is an external fault both on S7 CPU and CP441-2. Now I think the problem is on S5 side. We had connect S5-155 with S5-115 on V-24(RS-232) in the test plc module. In the process S5-155 and S5-155 are connecting eachather with TTYinterface. We can not connect S5-155 to S5-115 via TTY. May be in S5-115 side there can be a mistake. in S5-115 CP525 program there is no job define and there is just interpriter. In the program of S5-115 CPU there is just SENDALL, RECEIVEALL. S5-155 is the master plc in our system. We decided to changeS5-155 to S7-400. That way we need to communicate S7-400 with S5-115 PLC. Thanks, for your interests Best Regards; |

Dear Kovolkan, Which type of communication are you try to use, I mean RK512 or ASCII or .... ? When using not Fetch/Write, then you have to program also a job on the CP and also a SEND DIREKT and a RECEIVE DIREKT. Please give some more information about that you want to do, TTY is not the only thing, that is physically, not the protocol... |
I hope that the answer will help, if you have still questions, don't hesitate to ask me. |

Hi Kovolkan, in your cp525 you need to load procedure (3964R) and interprter (RK512) to the cp525-project. But i remember some versions of cp525 when you needed to set up one param-block as a dummy. I know it's not used but without it there was no comm. In the s5 you only need to call the 'send all' and 'receive. I have never seen the pafe param to PY but if it works... So i don't see a problem on the s5. What cp441 did you select? Only the cc441-2 includes rk512, and that is needed. There is a cd being delivered with the cp441. Please install the PtP param tool. In hw config you can select 'parameters' in the properties of cp441.Select rk512 as protocol. Then you can send data by function 'put' and fetch data by function 'get'. Good luck |
