i cannot find description about OB 5 function on google and forum.. Could someone enlighten me about OB 5 functionality.

Helllo,

the OB5 is a process alarm at the CPU 948.

You must configure the depended digital Input at the DX 0.
Then call a change of this DI the process alarm.

Please have a look at the manual:

Especially the chapter 7-Extended Data Block DX 0 (parameterizing DX0) and table 2.1 at page 49.s
