A brief overview of what I am working on; I have a Main PLC S7-1515-PN and there are a couple of third party PLC such as S7-1200 and others 1500.

The thing is that I want communicate with them using I-Device Profinet protocol. So far, reading documents about it is easy to configure it if I have the program to add on my main program; just creating the transfer areas and etc.But I would like to add them using the GSD created from the configuration properties, that is to say without adding the entire Software to my project.

The problem is that when I create the GSD file from any of the programs and then insert this gsd on my project I am not able to change the IP addres of the device.

I am currently working on segment 192.168.125.1 (This is the Main PLC Addres), and when I create the gsd it always has something like : 192.168.0.1.

Maybe I am skipping one step or option to enable before creating the GSD.

It will help me a lot if you could give some advices.

I have this same Issue.  I am configuring a CP1604 to talk with a FANUC robot.  I export a GSD created in TIA Portal 15.1.  I have Set IP Address In Project selected.  When I Export the GSD, import to my library and add the module I can no longer change the IP Address.
