S7/1200 PLCs on different networks need to communicate

I've seen both CP1243-1 mentioned as well as 6ES7514-2DN03-0AB0 CPU 1514SP-2 PN, 600KB Prog.,3,5MB Data ET 200SP https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/pv/6ES7514-2DN03-0AB0/td?dl=en I want to use the CP1243-1 but want to verify that it will be what I need. Thanks.

But It depends also on which kind of communication you want to use? Multible CPs or a PLC with more ethernet interfaces can also act as gateway/router or kind of data connector Bye Murof
